A microsite designed for a new launch of an environmentally-conscious skincare brand
↳About
Natura Pal, a skincare product line by Emina, was newly launched in 2021. The objective was to develop a microsite aligning with their campaign for the newly launched product. The campaign aimed to inspire environmentally conscious behavior among their target audience, aged 14-19, when using their products. Consequently, the microsite was rich in content, featuring the product's story, sustainability initiatives, product details, and FAQs. The color scheme and branding were designed to adhere to their established brand guidelines.
↳Challenges
One of the primary challenges encountered during this project was the tight timeline. With the product scheduled to launch in December 2021, we were approached just three weeks before the launch date, leaving me with only two days to deliver the initial design. Additionally, as the microsite was limited to a single page, accommodating the substantial amount of content presented another significant challenge. Thus, it was imperative to create a neat and organized design to ensure that the content remained coherent and visually appealing.
↳Approach
In order to tackle the limited time available, I prioritized working quickly and effectively. I opted to utilize pre-made illustrations, modifying them as needed to maintain consistency with the brand's visual identity. To avoid overwhelming visitors with too much information on the main page, I suggested incorporating a pop-up window for one section of the microsite. This approach would allow for a smoother and more organized user experience, ensuring that essential content remains accessible without cluttering the initial view.
↳Process

Day One: Sectioning and Layouting

Due to time constraints, I bypassed the wireframing stage and dove directly into designing. I started by dividing the content into sections, organizing each to highlight key information. With all the necessary content readily available from the client, the layout process was streamlined and efficient.

Day Two: Illustration and detailing

Continuing into the second day, I focused on integrating illustrations and refining the details. This involved enhancing visual elements to complement the content and ensure a cohesive design.

↳Impact
Thanks to an efficient workflow, I managed to meet the deadline, leaving the client satisfied and earning their trust, leading to a 100% return rate. Consequently, the microsite effectively engaged the target audience, leaving a positive impression and encouraging interaction with the new skincare line. The site's performance was solid, with only a 25% bounce rate.
