Crafting a company profile website for an Indonesian Shipyard Company, established since 1990. The goal is to encapsulate the company's rich history, expertise, and commitment to excellence within a modern and engaging digital platform. By highlighting its extensive experience in shipbuilding, repair, and marine services, the website will position the company as a trusted leader in the maritime industry. Our project aims to create an informative and visually appealing online presence that effectively communicates the company's values, achievements, and offerings to clients, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.

Challenge

This project presented notable challenges, primarily centered around the client's specific request for an unconventional landing page design. Despite numerous iterations, the client remained unsatisfied until my proposal, which ultimately garnered their approval, allowing us to progress to the next phase. Additionally, transforming the outdated company image into a modern and trendy design posed another significant hurdle.

Approach

To fulfill the client's request for an "unconventional" landing page, I approached the design with a focus on incorporating dynamic elements to create movement and engagement. Despite facing the challenge of limited high-quality footage provided by the client, I sourced ship footage from reputable stock websites and seamlessly integrated it into the design. Additionally, to infuse the design with a modern and fresh feel, I opted to blend the company's dark blue branding with vibrant hues such as white, light blue, and cyan. This combination not only revitalized the overall aesthetic but also ensured a visually appealing and contemporary look that aligns with current design trends.
